My Background
I was born in Teaneck, NJ, and my family and I moved to East Stroudsburg, PA when I was four years old. I grew up playing soccer, field hockey, and basketball, along with being on a travel soccer team and an AAU basketball team.

Sports have always been a huge part of my life ever since I was a young girl. A fun fact, I kicked for my high school football team my senior year of high school. I love to stay active and go to the gym, especially since I no longer am playing any sports in college. I also take a lot of pride in my cooking and baking, and it also tends to be a nice stress reliever.

Coming to Penn State
Although I could have gone to a small division two or three school to play soccer or basketball, I wanted the big school football experience, with Penn State high on that list. My dad ended up coming to Penn State for his graduate work as a GA strength and conditioning coach for the Penn State football team. With my dad doing his graduate work at Penn State, my mom moved to State College to join him. My passion for Penn State was already embedded within my family, so my coming to PSU for college ended up being a no-brainer.
As I work towards a career in sports broadcasting, I am proud of myself for what I accomplished at Penn State. I was a member of a club called ASWM (Association for Women in Sports Media) since my freshmen year, which led me to meet great people and make awesome networking connections. At the beginning of my junior year, I was able to take on two internships with Penn State Sports Properties working for Learfield. One of the internships allowed me to work in the office with the property managers at Penn State and the other one was working with corporate sponsor guests on Penn State football game days. I also got the opportunity with this internship to work with men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's hockey, and Penn State wrestling. I continued to work with Learfield going into my Senior year on football game days at Penn State, working in the office as a property assistant and working in Winter and Olympic sports.

I have always had a passion for watching and playing sports, especially watching football on Sundays with my Dad. Although I did not continue my athletic career at Penn State, I feel like I am a part of each event I work, and am proud to be pursuing a career in sports broadcasting. Ultimately, my dream job would be as a sideline reporter for ESPN, any large network, or as a sports analyst. My sport of choice is football but working in any professional sport would be a dream. I am continuing to grow in my field, as well as a person, and gain as much experience and skills as possible. Penn State has given me opportunities I would never get at any other school.
